Affordable & Reliable Tree Service

Some trees can’t be trimmed the way we need, they are old and dangerous, or maybe they are over your house too far, perhaps you have a swing from a branch that your children swing on. Every one of these is instances that you may want a cable. Some cables may be metal, and others are poly materials. Our ISA Certified Arborists can help you determine the most reliable treatment.

What type of trees do I have? When it involves tree cabling and bracing, every one of our cables meet the national ANSI Standards "a300" (American National Standards Institute). It is installed with the very best management practices in mind. We strive to become the safest company available by following the OSHA laws, and we currently celebrate a ZERO lost time injury record over the last 20 years.

Static Cables
  • These cables are used in situations where limb movement is being almost eliminated. Some cases don’t consider it. A static cable may be used if a limb is damaged and poses a structural risk or safety hazard. Does the limb have a hole in it near the trunk? That may also be an application for a static cable. Static cables do not move or stretch much in any way. If the limb does happen to break from torsion (twisting) or any other movement, the static cable will catch the limb, thus preventing it from falling. Just one of our tree trimming crews can then come to retrieve the limb, and an ISA Certified Arborist can perform follow up health inspection.

Temporary Cable
  • During a preconstruction assessment, your personal ISA Certified Arborist may recommend a temporary cable for the safety of workers below. The cable can then be retrieved once construction is complete. A cable may also be prescribed a part of a tree health inspection, tree inventory, or tree pest management.

Dynamic Cable
  • It is usually essential for limbs to move in the wind and to bend as weight fluctuates. Perhaps your tree limbs have to have the ability to move, but you can’t allow them to move to the point of failure. Some situations where this may apply would include limbs with swings, otherwise healthy trees with limbs over structures or walkways, treehouse installations, cabling trees to other trees. Trees react to change as our muscles do. If you use them, they get stronger, and if you don’t use them, you get weaker. Using this logic, you can see why it may be essential to have a dynamic cable.

Cobra Cabling System
  • The Cobra is an elastic and shock-absorbing tree method. Cobra designs their cables with expert insight and scientific research. Their experts use knowledge of a tree’s requirement to meet the particular demands of their arborist customers. If a tree self-strengthens, a shock-absorbing unit will support compensation growth through defined, low-resistance oscillation. The shock absorption unit utilizes a cable. Even without this unit, the system is flexible enough to minimize the oscillation impact. Research has proven the Cobra’s endurance, and its sturdiness decrease under 2% per year is considered acceptable by field scientists. If installed according to specifications, the system should not require replacement for a minimum of twelve years!
